Are you licensed?
This is one of the most important questions. If you hire an unlicensed company, if something goes wrong, you can lose more money than you intended. Working with a licensed company should be your number one criterion when it comes to your relocation process.
Who will be doing the move?
Ask the company who are their employees, how experienced they are and who will be doing your move. It is important to hire a professional company whose employees are in the business for quite some time if you want your belongings to be safe. Apart from everything a move entails, the last thing you should be worried about is who is going to move your belongings.
What if something breaks?
Companies usually provide some form of insurance. At Spring Movers, basic insurance coverage is included in the service. However, our professional packers and movers rarely damage anything at all, so we are confident you won’t be needing the insurance. However, for your piece of mind, you should know that you are covered.
What about large furniture items?
This is a good question. They can pack all of your smaller belongings, of course. But what about your bed or work desk? Large items can be disassembled into their main pieces and packed. After you arrive at your new house, our workers will help you reassemble those items and arrange them within your new house.
What cannot be moved?
Ask your moving company which items cannot be moved in order to prepare in advance and come up with a solution. At Spring Movers, some things we don’t move include pool tables, animals, grand pianos, perishable foods, alcohol and any flammable items. Make sure you do your research on time and prepare a spare solution.
When should I book the move?
Asking a company to learn more about their services doesn’t mean you have to book them for your upcoming relocation process. However, if you do decide to opt for them, try to book them six to eight weeks before your move. That is the optimal time necessary for good organization and trust us – a well-organized move is a successful move!
Why are you cheaper on weekdays?
When booking your move, you are looking to save some money, if possible. If you’re on a tight budget, you should look at weekdays for your moving date. Moving companies have more work over the weekends as well as holidays, and thus might give you a higher rate for those days.
What is your pricing policy?

Is your equipment well-maintained?
Make sure the company you hired doesn’t use old equipment. The safety of your belongings is top priority at Spring Movers and thus, our equipment is up-to-date and very clean. We clean our trucks after every move so that they are spick and span for each new client and their relocation process.
How many people will you send?
This depends on your move. Once you give us a call and give us more information about your upcoming move, we will be able to give you an estimate of how many people, hours and supplies will be necessary for your upcoming move. Our staff is pretty well-experienced and our estimates are usually pretty correct. Therefore, don’t hesitate to contact us as soon as possible!
